*nods*

4E will hold our interests and gaming nights for some time to come, I think. With the stuff we're cranking out, I suspect we'll be well into the epic levels before we start casting around for new stuff to do.

Heck, new adventures, characters, and campaigns are at the heart of D&D. It wouldn't be a game if they weren't.

Oh, no. No way we're gonna drop 4E. We're sticking to it, for sure. I was, as Zach is, just nosing around other things. This is really more of a pipe dream, or a "someday" thing, believe me. Warcraft is really just by far my favorite fantasy universe, and doing anything in it is a delight for me (Especially if we want to do two campaigns at once? I'd just rather not, like Zach said, do two Forgotten Realms campaigns).

I'm personally really tired of switching between every RPG we come across. It's just plain confusing. We spend all of this time creating characters and back story. Spend hours on the beginnings of a promising campaign, then drop it lke a hot rock. We don't spend enough time in any of them, we don't get to develope characters, and we have to learn all new rule sets. I personally don't much care for it.

I think we should focus in on one thing and stick to it. I appreciate that there are many exciting RPG's to choose from and that there are RPG's to fit everyones taste, but I would just like to stick to one. If we don't, we will have 6 different games going on, and when we want to do some role playing we will just get into an argument over which one.

We can move from D&D if we want, but i pray that the next RPG we get into is the one we stick with, at least for longer than 2 adventures.

There's no shame in it. It's true, if we're going to run two P&P campaigns (and I think more than two at once is just a mistake), then it'd be best if only one of these campaigns is Forgotten Realms. This is why I was sniffing around D20 modern. You know, it'd be really easy to separate stories, characters and (presumably) mechanics if we're dealing with swords and sorcery in one world and stealth bombers and uzis in the other.

I'd definitely be down for trying a Warcraft RPG, but I'm going to have to say that the DMing of said campaign has to be entirely in your hands, Ben. I mean, I feel that anyone could really do a Forgotten Realms campaign because the whole thing is kind of generic. I mean, their world can be warped without guilt. I guess the whole point of a Warcraft RPG would be to stay true to the universe, and I don't think any of us know that place better than yourself. I'd also like it if we got a little bit deeper into 4E before we started anything new. I want an anchor in something.

But, hey, it's an interesting idea. And we've already got the core books!
